Priority circuit IR for oncoming traffic
Regulation that regulates the priority for left-turning traffic
With this set you can create a priority system for oncoming traffic which left indicator is on.
Operation:
By means of a sensor (Infrared, Hall, reed contact, etc.), which is mounted in /on the priority road, the oncoming traffic holds the traffic that flashes to the left via an IR LED that emits the DC-Car Stop command. An adjustable timer (1 sec -.. 20 sec) determined how long this movement remains stationary. The circuit operates with pulse extension which means that new cars on the priority lane extend the timer for the DC-Car stop signal. Vehicles that do not blink, just driving straight ahead.
The circuit works independently, and generates the DC-Car Stop command itself . A computer or a function module is not needed.
For triggering, a reed contacts, IR Street sensor, etc. can also be used.
The set consists of:
Circuit in housing.
Operating voltage: 12 - 16V ~ / =
Input: Switches to GND (Hall sensor / Reed contact between GND and connect IN)
Output: IR DC Car Stop command (shunt resistor for the IR LED is already on the board!)
Output: + 5Volt to power the Hall sensor (not suitable for powering other circuits!)
To the circuit, several Hall sensors may be connected in parallel so that, for example, also a T-junction can be arranged with opposite traffic.
