Servo decoder W4
Built and tested.
The W4DCC / MOT servo decoder has connections for four servos each of which can take four positions and is suitable for DCC and Motorola format.
The print has a serial RS232 interface for programming servo modes and functions via the PC using the free Servo Decoder Software whic can be downloaded from her.
Functionality:
This decoder is specifically designed for Car systems. With one single servo you can make junctions with four different direction.
With each of the servos can also operate railswitches, signals, level crossings etc..
By using servos the annoying clicking sound remains with the switch and the burning of the coils when the limit switch stops working omitted. The servos are also quieter than many motor.
A great advantage is that the servo's can be mouted in a suitable or easily accessible position.
An exceptionally realistic impression is show the arm signals or track trees as "Nachfedern" is enabled. This simulates the mechanical mass effect of such signals or trace tree.
Through software, the following settings can be made:
• Servo manufacture
• What is controlled by the servo
• pulse shape (positive or negative)
• Power off after reaching the end position
• Left and right end position
• Turning speed left
• Turning speed right
• Mass effect left and / or right
• Number rehearse movements
• Direction of the servos
The decoder works with DCC or Motorola protocol and is connectable to each
Digital Hub. Consecutive addresses are used for the servos. The control is the same to that of the solenoid decoders from other brands.
