Street transmitter

This street transmitter is equipped with an infrared LED. The vehicles receive their commands from the road surface, but it is necessary that the receivers in the vehicle can see the transmitter, so they may not be built "deep" into the vehicle.

The sensor has the appearance of a manhole cover.

Assembly is simple: drill a 6mm hole, press the sensor in and you're done.

This solution can be used if there are several lanes next to each other and IR control from the side of the road is not possible.

ATTENTION infrared LEDs need a ballast resistor!

Because the signal transmission is short, only when passing, these transmitters are not suitable for braking over a longer distance.

In that case you would have to install several transmitters one after the other.
