Function decoder SW with RS232

Function decoder SW with digital and RS232 input.

For controlling the functions of a DC Car Vehicle using IR LED's mounted along the side of the road . This function module has 8 outputs each with a different code (function) broadcast. The groups of different function blocks are chosen by a dip switch.

The function decoder is completely assembled and tested supplied with 8 IR LED's and shunt resistors. The unit is supplied with a digital input so the outputs can be switched On and Off via digital station. There is also a RS232 interface available for connecting to a PC or to the Input print. The latest makes is possible to control the outputs with switches, contact, Hall sensor and so on.
