A number of automatic functions are built into the DC-Car decoder. The functions are controlled by 2 magnets located in the road surface. As an receiver, an optional Hall sensor must be installed under the cars.

The following automatic functions are available:

1. The rotating beacons are switched on when the first magnet is passed, and switched off again on the second.

2. Bus stop. When passing the first magnet, the bus slows down and indicates direction to the right to stop at a bus stop.

When the second magnet passes, the bus stops and any lighting is turned on.

After the set waiting time has elapsed, the left turn signal comes on and the bus leaves again. After a while, the left turn signal goes out again.

All parameters are by CVs adjustable.

By indicating in the decoder which type of vehicle it is, it is determined whether and how the vehicle should respond to the magnets. Another variant of the bus stop function is, for example, a garbage truck that runs from house to house and stops everywhere. For this purpose, two magnets are placed under the road surface for each house.
